”The Pond 4 - Water Lily” is part of a series of paintings that I did earlier this year (2023). Lotus and Water Lilies are two of my favourite flowers. There is a pond near my home and every time i walk past the pond, the beauty of the lotuses and water lilies in bloom always mesmerizes me. The idea that something so beautiful emerges from muddied waters is so hopeful and positive. I like that.
This painting comes with an Authenticity Certificate signed by the Artist.
