FORM . RESIDUE explores the overlooked beauty of earth and stone through two interconnected bodies of work, Mrida and Ashma.
Using acrylic, limestone, natural earth pigments and mineral-based materials, the works reveal the intricate colours, textures and patterns found within these familiar elements of the natural world.
Through abstraction and material experimentation, the exhibition invites viewers to look beyond the ordinary and discover the extraordinary beauty beneath our feet.

About the artist
Aparna Chakravarty is a Singapore-based multidisciplinary artist working across painting, ceramics and mixed media.
Her practice is rooted in an exploration of nature, materiality and the subtle beauty of everyday forms. Through experimentation with colour, texture and natural materials, she creates works that invite closer observation and a renewed appreciation of the world around us.
Her work moves between abstraction and tactile, process-led exploration, reflecting an ongoing curiosity about the relationship between material, form and transformation.
